Who We Are

Jaimie Love is the founder and designer of Luz Jewelry. Her passion for design and art collided into the perfect medium of jewelry and goldsmithing after handcrafting her own wedding ring. Her designs are inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and the vibrant colors of the places in latin America she once called home.

Jaimie is also a mother, holds a masters degree in counseling, and rides horses competitively.

Our Story

Jaimie started Luz in the living room of her home during a particularly dark Seattle winter - Luz coming from the Spanish word for light. That same year, Jaimie handcrafted her own wedding ring, began taking classes, and learned metalsmithing from a group of incredibly talented mentors.

What began as something small and intimate has stayed that way in spirit. The process is slow and intentional, built around real conversations and bringing visions to life in a way that feels incredibly personal. Our collections are made up of one-of-a-kind pieces, each centered around a stone we may never find again in quite the same way.

At the end of the day, these are pieces meant to carry something with them—light, meaning, memory—and to be worn, lived in, and passed down over time.

Our Ethos

We believe that beautiful jewelry should never come at the expense of our planet or the people who call it home. Every piece we create is a reflection of our deep commitment to responsible sourcing, and environmental stewardship.

A portion of each purchase goes to Conservation Northwest, helping protect wild spaces and wildlife here in the Pacific Northwest, and the Progressive Animal Welfare Society - rescuing and rehabilitating wild and domesticated animals across the Pacific Northwest.
