Starting a Custom Design

The custom process is one of Jaimie's favorites. Together you will chat about dreams and vision for your design, and the process to bring it to life.

Consultation

Custom, but without the chaos.

Our design process is built to feel thoughtful, collaborative, and actually enjoyable—from first idea to finished piece. Whether you’re starting with a fully formed vision or just a loose “I saw something once…,” we guide you through each step with clarity (and zero pressure).

It starts with a conversation. We talk through inspiration, lifestyle, budget, and the details that matter most to you.

Designing

And here’s where the fun starts: once you have selected your dream stone, we get to start designing. We brainstorm the perfect setting, play with details, and figure out how to make your stone shine like it’s meant to.

After we land on the concept, we'll take the exact dimensions of your stone and turn it into a CAD model. This step lets us see your ring in 3D before anything is made, making sure every angle, curve, and proportion is perfect. The CAD process usually takes 5–10 business days, then we will send it to you for review—small tweaks are easy, so you can change anything that doesn’t feel just right.

Final Approval

Once the CAD looks perfect, we take it one step further: we print a 3D wax mold of your setting and send you a video so you can fully visualize it before we move into production. This gives you the chance to approve every detail and feel confident that your ring is exactly what you imagined.

Production

When your wax mold has received final approval, production begins. This process typically takes 2–3 weeks. Once your piece is finished and has passed a thorough quality check, it’s ready to ship to you fully insured via FedEx, with signature required for delivery. Every custom design comes in a signature ring box, so it arrives safely—and beautifully (and ready to propose if that's your plan).

Our Ethos

Stones and metals come from the earth. We believe that we hold a responsibility to source every stone carefully, and use recycled metals for our designs.
